Q.  Do I have to work my volunteer hours before I shop?

A.  No. During the Kool Kids week, you can volunteer either before or after you shop the volunteer presale. NEW volunteer hours on the weekends! Volunteers get to SHOP FIRST even before the consignors! Volunteer either 2 hours, 4 hours, or 8 hours to shop early. Shopping times click here. ***Hint-  WE NEED HELP! We offer 8 days of volunteer hours in hopes something fits your schedule! Sign up as a volunteer today!

Q. What is the benefit to volunteering?
A.

• Volunteers shop first on Presale night! 
• Fun way to meet new people. Our volunteers have fun!
• A quick escape from the kids...get out of the house!

We have 8 hour volunteers, 4 hour volunteers, and 2 hour volunteers. All volunteers shop before the consignors. Sign up as a volunteer today!

Q.  What do Volunteers do during their shift?
A.  During Drop-off times, our Volunteers help us get ready for the sale!  Volunteers organize items consignors bring in and place them on the Civic Center floor to sell. During shopping hours, our volunteers help with check out and help keep the unsold items organized.  During clean-up hours, our volunteers sort and organize the unsold items so the consignors can pick them up.  Our volunteers are the best!  We could not have this sale without them!!!

Q. Can I bring my kids while I work my shift?
A. We ask you to arrange childcare during your scheduled volunteer shift(s). Kool Kids is a very busy place and it’s nearly impossible to supervise your children properly. We like to think of your volunteer hours as a break for you MOM!

Q. Can someone else work my shift instead of me?
A. Yes. If you need help working your shift, a friend, spouse, or family member can take your place.

Q. Do I have to consign in order to work and shop early?
A. No. You do not have to consign to volunteer.

Q. How do I register to volunteer?
A. Our Kool Kids Volunteers shop first. We have 8 hour volunteers, 4 hour volunteers, and 2 hour volunteers. All volunteers shop before the consignors. Sign up as a Volunteer Today!

• 8 hour Volunteer Presale: Shop 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm
  (work any 8 hour shift on any day Sunday, March 2 - Sunday, March 9...you may split the 8 hour shift into several 2 or 4 hour shifts) Due to limited space, NO CHILDREN/BABIES allowed at the Presale. Unfortunately, babies worn in a sling on the parent are NOT allowed either.  Register here to volunteer.

• 4 hour Volunteer Presale: Shop 9:30 am – 9:00 pm
  (work any 4 hour shift on any day Sunday, March 2 - Sunday, March 9....you may split the 4 hour shift into several 2 hour shifts) Due to limited space, NO CHILDREN/BABIES allowed at the Presale. Unfortunately, babies worn in a sling on the parent are NOT allowed either. Register here to volunteer.

• 2 hour Volunteer Presale: Shop 10:30 am – 9:00 pm
  (work any 2 hour shift on any day Sunday, March 2 - Sunday, March 9.) Due to limited space, NO CHILDREN/BABIES allowed at the Presale. Unfortunately, babies worn in a sling on the parent are NOT allowed either. Register here to volunteer.

• Consignor Presale: Shop 12:00 pm – 9:00 pm
  (Consignors SHOP!) Because you are consigning, no pass needed. Your name/consignor number will be on a list when entering to shop! Due to limited space, NO CHILDREN/BABIES allowed at the Presale. Unfortunately, babies worn in a sling on the parent are NOT allowed either. Register here to consign.

• New Moms Presale: Shop 1:30 pm – 9:00 pm
  First time Expecting Moms, first time adopting Moms, and first time Moms with a child under 12 months of age must register for this special presale. You may bring one guest. Cost is $5 each plus the New Moms Presale Pass to enter for the New Mom and a guest. One lifetime registration per New Mom. Due to limited space, NO CHILDREN/BABIES allowed at the Presale.  Unfortunately, babies worn in a sling on the parent are NOT allowed either. If you have registered before for our New Moms Presale, try to register as a Consignor this sale. (only 15 items needed to consign!)  Register here for the New Moms Presale.  

• Gran's Presale: Shop 3:30 pm – 9:00 pm
  Grandparents are invited to shop this Presale. You may bring one guest. Cost is $5 each plus the Gran's Presale Pass to enter for the Grandparent and a guest. Due to limited space, NO CHILDREN/BABIES allowed at the Presale. Unfortunately, babies worn in a sling on the parent are NOT allowed either. Register here for the Gran's Presale. 
  
  
• Heroes Presale:  Shop 5:30 pm – 9:00 pm
  School Employees, Healthcare Workers, First Responders, and all active duty or retired Military are invited to shop this Presale. The hero and/or their spouse are allowed at this presale. The hero does not have to be present to shop. You may bring one guest. Cost is $5 each plus the Heroes Presale Pass to enter for the Hero or spouse and a guest. Due to limited space, NO CHILDREN/BABIES allowed at the Presale. Unfortunately, babies worn in a sling on the parent are NOT allowed either. Register here for the Heroes Presale.
   
• Premier Guests Presale: Shop 5:30 pm – 9:00 pm
  Each consignor will receive 2 Premier Guest Presale Passes to give to friends! Only one person per pass. Cost is $5 plus a Premier Guest Presale Pass to enter.  Due to limited space, NO CHILDREN/BABIES allowed at the Presale. Unfortunately, babies worn in a sling on the parent are NOT allowed either.

• Guests Presale: Shop 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm
  Each consignor will receive 2 Guest Presale Passes to hand to friends! Only one person per pass. Cost is $5 plus a Guest Presale Pass to enter.  Due to limited space, NO CHILDREN/BABIES allowed at the Presale. Unfortunately, babies worn in a sling on the parent are NOT allowed either.
