1. Presale times have been spread out to provide room for our shoppers! Check out the new Presale shopping times.
2. At the New Moms, Gran’s, Premier Guests, and Guests Presales, please try to being exactly $5 to help keep the exchange of money as little as possible.
Q. Are all Items Discounted to 50% on the half off day?
A. No. Prior to the sale, consignors determine if they would like to sell their items ½ off on Saturday, and if so they write their tags in red ink. There is always a very large selection of ½ off items on Saturday from which to choose.
Q. Can I bring my stroller?
A. Strollers or children/babies are NOT allowed at any Presale event. However, strollers and children/babies are allowed at the Thursday, Friday and Saturday sale. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
Q. Can I bring my children to the Presale event?
A. Children/babies are NOT allowed at any Presale event. Children/babies are welcome to the Thursday, Friday and Saturday event.
Q. Can children come Thursday, Friday and Saturday?
A. Yes! Strollers are also allowed on Thursday, Friday and Saturday....plus Free Admission!
Q. Can my children try items on?
A. We do not have dressing rooms. Sorry!
Q. Do you have any shopping carts?
A. We do not have shopping carts. We do have some shopping bags for $2 that you can put on your shoulder while shopping. Most people bring their own shopping bags, carts, or laundry baskets to put items in while shopping.
Q. What payment methods are accepted?
A. We accept cash, Visa/Mastercard and Venmo. (3% charge for credit transactions) We appreciate cash payments, especially for transactions under $10. We do accept personal checks with correct identification, employment, and phone numbers. Please be advised that all sales are final.
Q. What if I change my mind on a purchase when I get home? Or I notice that there is a defect on my purchased item?
A. We are sorry but all sales are final. We do not accept any returns or exchanges so please inspect and consider your purchases carefully.
Q. What can I expect to find at the sale?
A. Kool Kids is an incredible shopping experience! We have everything you can imagine that has to do with children. From bedding to clothes to toys, we have it all! When you walk into Kool Kids at the Ruston Civic Center, you will see the girls clothing in rows and rows of racks on the left. The boys are located on racks that wrap around the back of the Civic Center and continue around the right. Bedding, blankets, and room décor are located on the stage to the left. There is so much to see!
Each seasonal sale offers a different variety of merchandise. Generally speaking, there will be kids clothing sizes preemie to boys 20 or Junior Girls, shoes and accessories, strollers, baby gear, diaper bags, bedding, nursery and children’s furniture, toys (indoor and outdoor), books, DVDs, and more!! When shopping our event you can expect to pay 50-90% less than retail on High Quality name brand and boutique merchandise.
It’s fun to look through racks and racks of high quality clothes at great prices! Don’t forget all the tables with bins full of bibs, bottles, socks, etc. along with rows and rows of shoes and toys! You have to see it to believe it!
Kool Kids allows parents to shop for great bargains of gently used items at fantastic prices. In these tough economic times, parents need a break! Kool Kids helps parents clothe their children in spectacular outfits without breaking the bank. We love a good bargain, and we love the fact that our community is helping each other out!
Q. How can I shop early?
A. Our Kool Kids Volunteers shop first. We have 8 hour volunteers, 4 hour volunteers, and 2 hour volunteers. All volunteers shop before the consignors. Sign up to volunteer. We will also offer an early shopping pass for new moms! If you are a new mom, register online for our New Moms Presale. There is also a Gran's Presale for any Grandparent wanting to shop!
